Litter Cleanup

Conduct a Litter Cleanup

Litter cleanup volunteers help our community stay clean and healthy for all! Cleaning up litter can be a fun, meaningful activity for all ages, and is great for groups of any size - from individuals, to families, to large groups. Host a cleanup just once or repeat it a few times throughout the year!

How to Sign Up:

(1) Fill out the request form below to start the process. You will choose your own date, time, and location (a public space, such as a park, trail segment, neighborhood, waterway, or campus.)

(2) KOB provides all supplies. You will be asked to schedule a preferred date to pick up your supplies from the KOB office or our remote lock bin.

(3) You will be asked to fill out a safety waiver and photo release form as part of your volunteer agreement with KOB.

(4) KOB will confirm your project via email, and you can always get in touch with us if you have questions.

If you're interested in conducting regular (at least monthly) cleanups at a specific location, please consider joining KOB's Adopt-a-Spot program. Adopt-a-Spot Volunteers make a commitment to one location (e.g., a trail, stream, neighborhood or business corridor, or group of storm drains) to care for all season long!
