City of Omaha Fall Cleanup
The City of Omaha's 2026 Fall Cleanup will take place on four Saturdays of October (10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24). Each Saturday, multiple neighborhoods in a specific section of the city will accept items for disposal and recycling between 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM. This free event provides Omaha residents with the opportunity to recycle or dispose of large or bulky items that are not accepted through curbside waste services (such as old furniture, appliances, and mattresses). Fall Cleanup is open to all City of Omaha households. Residents do not have to be a member of a neighborhood or homeowner association to participate. Only residential household items are accepted (commercial waste is prohibited). Residents must unload their own vehicle, no assistance will be provided.
Please note that tires will no longer be collected as part of Omaha’s Fall Cleanup. A separate tire collection event will be held on November 7 (see details at Tires.Wasteline.org)

City of Omaha Tire Collection Event
New for 2026, the City of Omaha will host three tire collection events held separately from its traditional spring and fall neighborhood cleanup events. The third and final collection event of the year will be held on Saturday, November 7, from 9am to 2pm in West Omaha. For detailed information, visit Tires.Wasteline.org.
Tire collection is open to all City of Omaha households at no cost. Restrictions apply and rims must be removed. There is a maximum limit of sixteen tires per vehicle, per day. (Note: Must be a Nebraska-plated vehicle delivering tires.) Only residential tires are accepted; tires from businesses prohibited. Residents are responsible for unloading their own vehicles, as no assistance will be provided.
