Join Keep Omaha Beautiful for a special volunteer tree planting along the Turner Boulevard Trail on Sunday, October 6th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.

We will meet at Dewey Park and plant 80 trees throughout Dewey and Leavenworth Parks and along the Turner Boulevard Trail. 

Volunteers will work in small groups to place trees in pre-augered holes, cover with excavated soil, and spread mulch. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome. All supplies are provided by Keep Omaha Beautiful, and volunteers are encouraged to bring work gloves and water bottles. 

Schedule:

  • 1:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. - Volunteer Check-in
  • 1:15 p.m - 1:30 p.m. - Instructions & Demonstration
  • 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Tree Planting
