Arbor Day Tree Planting

West Papio Trail
Along Harry Anderson Avenue, Q Street to I-80
April 27, 2019 | 9 am - 12 pm

Join Keep Omaha Beautiful for Arbor Day Weekend as we conduct our first volunteer-based tree planting of 2019. We will plant roughly 180+ trees along the West Papio Trail (near Harry Andersen Avenue, between Q Street and I-80).

Volunteers will work in small groups to place trees in pre-augured holes, cover with excavated soil and mulch, and add tree tags to help educate our community about the Trees for Omaha program. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome. All supplies are provided by Keep Omaha Beautiful, and volunteers are encouraged to bring work gloves and water bottles.

Registration is required for this event, and spots are limited.

Thank you for your interest in this event, registration is now full.

If you didn't register and would still like to get involved with the Trees for Omaha program, please email hellokob@cityofomaha.org.
