Household Waste Facility

OPEN!! to Douglas and Sarpy County households is the

Under the Sink facility for household hazardous waste disposal.

The facility is located at 4001 South 120th Street (the yellow and tan building just south of the railroad pass
between West Center Street and "L" Street)

Hours:

Tuesday The Restore portion is open from 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM. Materials not accepted for disposal on Tuesday

Wednesday 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM. Drop offs accepted and restore open.

Thursday 9:00 AM to 6:15 PM. Drop offs accepted and restore open.

Friday 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM. Drop offs accepted and restore open.

Saturday - Drop offs accepted by appointment and restore open.

What Materials are Accepted:
Chemicals liquids, powders, solids and pastes used for automotive, household, lawn and garden maintenance. Batteries, paint, old medicine, propane bottles and fluorescent tubes. (This is not a complete list)

What Materials are NOT Accepted:

Explosives	Asbestos
Yard waste	Garbage
Radioactive waste	Tires
Electronics	Appliances

Business waste, including home based businesses, is NOT accepted.
